Sheen Resources

The Sheen Community Fund is proud to announce that our second inaugural Golf Day has raised a huge $35,000 to support speciality assistance dogs!
Held at the Metropolitan Golf Course, 100 eager golfers rose before the sun all in support of a great course. Our golfers were welcomed on site with a live broadcast courtesy of our friends at 3AW and that was just the start of the days festivities! The day featured opportunities for our players to dig deep for assistance dogs with raffles, silent auctions and oncourse activities that featured the generous “WIN A BT50” hole in one opportunity provided by our friends at Ringwood Mazda.
Lunch was an extra special affair with the help of Variety and our guests of honour Levi and Finn-Pickles, our recipients of last year’s Golf Day efforts. Also, in attendance was 8-year-old Aiden who will be receiving a dog thanks to the incredible results of this year's fundraising efforts.
Congratulations to all our winners, especially the team from AANDI Lawyers that finished up first.

We would like to thank all those who attended on the day and helped us reach this incredible achievement, with a special mention to Variety the Childrens Charity, that not only supported us with their volunteer network but who have partnered with us to help find the families requesting these life-changing Assistance Dogs.
The Sheen Community Fund (SCF), founded in 1989, has raised 5.5 million to support children and youth in need. 2025 donations are now open, help us reach our goal of $300,000.00 to help the most vulnerable people in our community. Want to get involved, learn more here.
