Every year we set aside a night to celebrate the achievements over the last year within the Sheen Group at our highly anticipated mid year party.

Held at the stunning Glasshouse overlooking the Yarra Bend, 250 guests gathered for a night of celebration! This year we were thrilled to acknowledge over 15 employees for their 5 and 10 year service milestones, announce our coveted “Shop of the Year” award and introduce a slew of new awards to celebrate the different pillars of the Sheen group.

Below is a full break down of all the nights recipients!

Acknowledgement of service - These are awards for staff that have stood the test of time and made it to 5 years or more. We understand the importance of people in our business and without everyone in this room, Sheen would not exist without the ongoing effort and commitment to the company.

Bookkeeper of the year – This award is acknowledging exemplary performance in bookkeeping and financial management while going over and above in helping their shop run. Sheen’s best bookkeepers are an extension of the manager and do much more than just the bookkeeping. Without these integral members shops would struggle to maintain function and order that is needed in any business. With over 20 bookkeepers employed at Sheen we wanted to acknowledge their hard work and dedication with this brand new award.

Winner – Jennifer Thum, SPS Malvern

The Master Chef Award – Throughout the Sheen group it is well known that we show our love through food. “Free lunch Fridays” started as a considerate gesture for managers to reward workers for a week of hard work quickly spiralled into who was having the BEST lunch. This award is presented to a shop team for celebrating culinary excellence and creativity among the team creating an amazing culture and inclusivity in the workplace.

Winner – SPS Hastings


Most improved shop – This award is for recognising significant improvement and growth in a Sheen shop through financial and cultural improvement. We hold to each of our stores to a high standard of quality and efficiency, whilst upkeeping a positive workplace, to achieve this is a huge effort and outlines potential shops in line for the following years shop of the year title.

Winner – SPS Croydon

Sheen MVP - This award recognises individuals who exemplify the core values, culture, and behaviours cherished by the company. They embody the spirit of innovation, dedication, integrity, and leadership that the founder instilled within the organisation. They demonstrate outstanding commitment to the company's mission, vision, and guiding principles, serving as role models for their colleagues and inspiring others to strive for excellence.

Winner – David Farrugia, SPS Sunshine & Brooklyn

Customer Service Champion – This Award is designed to recognise and reward exceptional customer service representatives who consistently demonstrate outstanding service excellence, dedication, and a customer-first attitude. The award aims to celebrate those who go above and beyond in delivering an exceptional customer experience, fostering loyalty, and contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

Winner – Dimitri Drachilivas, Sheen Towing

Shop of the Year – Each year we announce a Shop of the Year. As our most coveted award, this is the one the guests come to see! The winner is determined by a wide scale of criteria that requires success both in and outside the shop. This decision is made by the operating managers of the company and is a decision that takes a month of discussion, deliberating and debate to be decided.
